Who knew!

Hello, my name is Paul and I’m just another schmo who had a baby which changed his world.

It wasn’t that long ago that I was pretty sure I’d never get married, let alone have kids. In fact, I’m pretty sure my entire family had finally given up. The whole marriage thing sort of caught me off guard a bit, but the kid thing was definitely not something I really considered before on any realistic level. I mean, how can you travel to exotic places and such with kids in tow sucking your bank account dry?

In retrospect, I’m not sure what my problem was. Getting married and having a baby is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. All of a sudden it’s about making kick-ass memories for my baby girl. Of course, it doesn’t mean I’ve completely grown up. While I’ve definitely matured to my furthest point so far, I’m by no means mature (other than age).

I’m not really sure what I expected on this journey, as I was a little bit like a deer in headlights, but so far it’s been a whole lot better than I ever could have imagined.

Anyway, aside from trying to put together a place to refresh my rapidly diminishing memory so I can recapture the magic that is my little girl, the primary reason for putting this site together is explained in my first post.
